My first entrepreneurial job was part ownership in a rock shop in Gilpin County, Colorado at the tender age of 18. My boyfriend at the time went on a trip to Nevada to visit a mine and wanted to have fun with dynamite. Blew it up and came back to Colorado with sacks of turquoise. Thus, we started a rock shop and were gold and silversmiths.Bend Propertieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04874486627697199688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389946703227720672.post-30816113661566453652012-05-14T08:28:25.816-07:002012-05-14T08:28:25.816-07:00Oh that is really sad :( But thank you for letting...Oh that is really sad :( But thank you for letting me know!TemporaryWafflehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11085011629860454210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389946703227720672.post-90326571126585398582012-03-16T23:11:07.097-07:002012-03-16T23:11:07.097-07:00Hi,

It was a fun place that will just have to live on in our memories.Jeffreygardenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07309073799544681741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389946703227720672.post-27967171669347611172012-03-16T23:09:54.773-07:002012-03-16T23:09:54.773-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Jeffreygardenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07309073799544681741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389946703227720672.post-19643038427731254912012-03-09T10:00:58.567-08:002012-03-09T10:00:58.567-08:00Is there any chance you can tell me where the &quo...Is there any chance you can tell me where the "House Of Rock" Place is? The picture with the rock on the car? My dad use to take me there when I was little and he passed away when I was 16...(so I can't ask him :( ) But I would love to take my son there and relive the memories. I have been searching for this place forever with no luck and came across your picture, it gave me hope! I hope you can help! Thanks!TemporaryWafflehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11085011629860454210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389946703227720672.post-12232624027246936292011-09-26T21:23:45.591-07:002011-09-26T21:23:45.591-07:00Wow, what a great rock garden. My favorite picture is the bridge over the water lily moat!

How did they get that giant boulder on the station wagon? Very funny, I love it.

I admire your work. You are a great inspiration!
Thank you for sharing your visit to Peterson's Rock Garden.Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18094162453440856943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389946703227720672.post-89825256293168671232011-09-26T13:39:11.598-07:002011-09-26T13:39:11.598-07:00I enjoy your blog posts and the work you do. I did a post on him ( http://altbuildblog.blogspot.com/2010/07/stone-work-in-silver-city.html ). Hope you will check it out.Cheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07214918997716742448noreply@blogger.com
